He was predeceased by: his parents, Gideon Ruel and Adrienne Ruel; and his son Robert Ruel. He is survived by: his wife Lucille; his son Ralph Ruel; his daughter-in-law Madeleine Ruel; his daughter Joanne Lemieux; his son-in-law Ronnie Lemieux; his granddaughter Cathleen Cyr; his son-in-law Mark Cyr; his grandchildren, Dale Ruel, Nicole Ruel, Joshua Ruel, Melissa Ruel, Christina Lemieux, Michael Lemieux, Casey Spencer and Molly Hussey; and his great grandchildren, Mason Lemieux, Michael Lemieux, Natalie Spencer, Nolan Fecteau, Daniel Gagnier and Bonnie Spencer.
A funeral service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Goodwins Mills Cemetery (1-9 South St, Lyman, ME 04002).
