She was predeceased by: her parents, George Mason Cushman and Mary Alice Chisholm; and her siblings, Aiden, Richard, Francis, George, Charles, William, Alicia, Mary Joanne, Theresa and Paula.

She is survived by: her sisters, Mary Germaine of Joseph's Convent and Mary Thaddene Barnes. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Sister Rachel Cushman may be made to the Retirement Fund of the Sisters of Mercy of the Americas, 966 Riverside St., Portland, ME 04103.
