He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Jose and Verna Jose; and his brothers, Lawrence Howard Jose Jr. and David Alan Jose. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Jose (Usher); and his daughters, Deborah Johnson (Stuart) of Dayton, Tamara Dow (Scott) of Buxton, Sandra Jose of Standish and Susan Ward (James) of Buxton. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
