He is survived by: his wife Joanne Kinney (Durost) of Blaine; his sons, Kurt Kinney (Kathy) of Blackwood and Kent Kinney (Rebecca) of Mars Hill, Maine; his grandchildren, Joshua (Linda), Amanda, Isaiah, Trace, Aidan and Grady; and his sisters, Eloise Akerman, Eva Ireland and Elaine Corsall.
