Gary leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Gary’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Gary will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Marguerite Wilson (Lenfesty) and William R. Wilson; his wife Janis (Gray); and his sister Helen. He is survived by: his children, Joel G. Wilson (Colleen) and Kelly Slaven (Harley) of Blue Hill; and his sisters, Rania Pettingill (Rod) of Sibley, Missouri and Wanda (Larry) of Gaston. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, dear friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 21st 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Blue Hill Consolidated School (60 High St, Blue Hill, ME 04614).
