She was predeceased by : her parents, Harold Melzar and Edna Melzar (McKusick); her husband Robert; and her son Alan. She is survived by : her brother-in-law Barclay Shepard; her children, Marjorie "Jamie" Knobloch (Thomas), Virginia Rickeman (Vicki Haugen) and Andrew Shepard (Judith); her grandchildren, Sarah Olney (Daniel), Rachel Higgins (Darian), Matthew Rickeman (Rebecca), Thomas Rickeman (Andrea), Steven Shepard (Patricia) and Benjamin Shepard (Amanda); and her great grandchildren, Solomon Olney, Jack, Elliot Higgins, Jones Rickeman, Eleanor, Henry Rickeman, Lorrin, Paul, Cordelia, Louise Shepard, Andrew, Harper and Isla Shepard. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
