He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Kinsey and Happy Kinsey; his daughter Eliza Kinsey; and his brother Munro Kinsey. He is survived by: his close friends, Steve Gardiner and John Jacobs; his friends, Scott Kennedy and Susan Endicott; his wife Maureen Kinsey; his daughter Gretchen Sullivan; his grandson Kinsey Sullivan of Yarmouth; his sisters, Carol Kinsey of Stockton Springs and Karen Roberts (Phil) of Bayville; his niece Rachel Roberts of Naples; and his nephew David Roberts of Charleston.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Boothbay Railway Museum (586 Wiscasset Rd, Boothbay, ME 04537).
