He was predeceased by: his parents, George A Malone and Rebecca Hodgkins Malone; his brother John (Blaine); and his niece Susan. He is survived by: his wife Leslie Burch Malone; his brother George Malone, Jr. (Feliciana); his sister-in-law Jill Malone; and his nephews, Wayne (Stephanie) and Kevin (Brandy).
