He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Harmon and Agnes Harmon (Ramsdall); his wife Lois Harmon (Elliott); his sisters, Lois Dougal and Gloria Durgin; and his grandson Jamie Whitney.
He is survived by: his children, Debbie Harmon Whitney (John) of Chester, Linda Harmon Jacobson (Michael) of Falmouth, Maine and Reginald C. Harmon (Katie) of Florida; and his grandchildren, Andrew C. Emerson (Samantha) of Colorado, Robert Whitney (Tifany) of Maine, Laura Skidmore (Nick) of Maine, Taryn Griffin (John Ford) of Florida, Lauren Grimsley (Chris) of Florida, Nicole Jacobson (Jerry Lerman) of Maine and Sara Tsaitsios (Steven) of Maine. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Kiley & Foley Funeral Service (69 State St, Brewer, ME 04412). A committal service was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Woodlawn Cemetery (598 N Main St, Brewer, ME 04412).
