He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Carl J. McAvey and Ethel L. McAvey (Page); his wife Phyllis M. McAvey (Thayer) of Hermon; his children, Dale C. McAvey of Brewer, Sheryl Champagne (Terry) of Mabank and Patti L. McAvey of Maine; his grandchildren, Lindsay Reznicek (Jason), Beau Champagne and Chelcie Shappy (Joe); his great grandchildren, Jase and Reese Reznicek; his daughter Lorenda Fowler; his friends, Mike Hamel and Ernie (Dottie); and his pet Kona.
