It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary L. Pomeroy (Brewer, Maine), born in Bangor, Maine, who passed away on November 12, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband William "Bill" R. Pomeroy, Sr.; her parents, Louis Costigan and Josephine Burton Costigan; and her brothers, Louis, Joseph, Frank and Stanley Costigan.

She is survived by: her daughter Joni Pomeroy Tropepe (Ralph); her grandchildren, Laura and Corey; her child Jani Pomeroy Shuman (Andrew); her granddaughter Megan; her son William Robert Pomeroy Jr. (Missy); her grandchildren, Brittany, William III, Logan, John Eric Pomeroy (Sharon) and Colton; her sister Julia Costigan of Bangor; her sisters-in-law, Mary "Bette" Adkins and Mary Jane Costigan; and her close friends, Joyce and Virginia. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
