He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond F. Vittum and Shirley Vittum (Carpenter); and his wife Frances Vittum. He is survived by: his sons, Michael Vittum Jr. (Susan) of Brewer and Darren Vittum (Denise) of Brewer; his stepdaughter Elise Mica (David) of Winslow; his grandchildren, Michael III, Julianne, Zoe, Riley, Cooper and Carter; his sister Catherine Garcelon of Searsport; his nephews, Peter and Michael; and his brothers-in-law, Ronald Tardiff of Iowa, Gerald Tardiff of Brewer, Walter "Skip" Tardiff of Holden, Frank of Eddington and Philip Tardiff of Eddington.
