He was predeceased by : his parents, Otilla Simek and Kupka. He is survived by : his wife Joyce; his son Paul (Renee); his grandchildren, Robert (Heidi), Andrew, Logan and Shannon (Dustin); and his great grandchild Diego.

The family asks that memorial donations be sent to the Maine Veterans Home Activity Fund, 44 Hogan Road, Bangor, ME 04401.
