He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harry Mawhinney and Marcella Towne Mawhinney; his wife Mary Mawhinney; his son John Mawhinney (Susan); his grandchildren, Isabella, Nina, James, Henry and Olivia; his son Eric Mawhinney (Patty); his grandchildren, Donovan, Jade and Jasmine; his siblings-in-law, Bill Griffin (Janice), Jane Hamilton (Robert), Kathy McDonough (late Francis), Pat Berry (Jack) and Terri Scardino (Phillip); and his half-brother Terry Martin. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
