We bid farewell to Dwight Eaton of Brooksville, Maine, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 22, 2025 at the age of 90. He was predeceased by: his parents, George F. Eaton and Elizabeth Gale Eaton (Littlefield); his wife Carolyn Eaton (Colburn); and his brothers, Franklin W. Eaton (Florence "Polly"), Richard G. Eaton of Maryland and Robert J. Eaton (Julia).
He is survived by: his girlfriend Alison Miner of Searsport; his children, Bethany Shea (Don) of Bar Harbor, Catherine Eaton (William Lissenden) of Brooksville and David Eaton (Carolyn); and his grandchildren, Kyle Shea of Anchorage, AK, Sam Woodward of San Diego, CA, Ben Eaton of Verona, WI and Megan Eaton of Bar Harbor. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He became a Director of the Downeast Horizon Foundation in 2010, an organization devoted to individuals with developmental disabilities.
