Robert will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around him. Friends and family will honor Robert by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence he had in their lives. Though Robert is no longer present, the bonds he created and the experiences shared will endure. Robert’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew him.
He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Alvord; and his brother Russ. He is survived by: his sister Louise; and his children, David (Ann) of Arlington, Virginia, Suzanne (Bill) of Reading, Massachusetts, Matthew (Anne) of Middlebury, Vermont and Anthony (Ann) of Belmont, Massachusetts. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and their partners; and one great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St Charles Borromeo Catholic Church (132 McKeen St, Brunswick, ME 04011).
