It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Simone Racine of Brunswick, Maine, who passed away on February 15, 2026, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her spouse Emile Racine; her siblings, Jeannette, Blanche, Adrien (Bob), Liane and Julienne; and her children, Marianne and Stephen.

She is survived by: her children, Jimé Racine (Tiffany) of Dayton, Paulette Hoppesch (Dean) of Schaumburg, IL and Sandy Lano (Jeff) of Freeport; her son-in-law Dana Bowen of Topsham; and her sister Terry LaJoie of Lewiston. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews, some who were like siblings and some for whom she was their first babysitter.
