With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Thomas Spock (Brunswick, Maine), born in Leonia, New Jersey, who passed away on November 1, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As William departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved William. Though William may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Estelle Spock and Leslie Spock. He is survived by: his former wife Elizabeth Daugherty (Betty); his children, Susan and Thomas; his wife Patricia Ellis (Pat); his children, Jennifer and Jeffrey; and his sister Elizabeth Newgeon. He is also survived by his wife of 66 years, four children and their spouses, five grandchildren with two spouses, four great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, gifts in Bill's memory can be made to the William T. '51 and Patricia E. Spock Scholarship Fund at Swarthmore College.
