She was predeceased by: her parents, Almer Gammon and Gertrude Gammon; her husband Ralph E. Lowell; her siblings, Woodrow Gammon, Alton Gammon, Pauley Turner, Louise Hines, Gertrude Hayford and Caroline Scott (Danny); and her daughter Natalie Lowell.
She is survived by: her children, Elwood Lowell (Gloria) of Buckfield, Rebecca Lowell (Rick Jewell) of Buckfield, Dana Lowell (Seri) of Buckfield, Edith Pepin (Douglas) of Buckfield, Loraine Lowell of Portland, Judi Riley (Robert "Bob), Saco and Elaine Nault (Gary) of Vashon Island, WA; and her niece Sandra Cowett. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 11 great- grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren.
Edith would have appreciated donations made to organizations involved in cancer care and research, and in animal protection.
