We are sad to announce that on October 13, 2023, at the age of 79, Edward Peter Steenstra of Bucksport, Maine, born in Bar Harbor, Maine passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Edward F. Steenstra and Mildred E. Steenstra; and his siblings, Frederick W. Steenstra of Inverness, FL and Barbara S. Alley of Ellsworth. He is survived by : his brother James V. Steenstra (Ginny) of Hancock; his sister-in-law Marion Steenstra of Inverness, FL; his children, Peter John Steenstra (Christina) of Monmouth, Clark E. Steenstra (Cheryl) of Bath and Karyn L. Steenstra (James) of Longmont, CO; and his former life partner Marcia W. Steenstra of Rockland. He is also survived by three granddaughters, and four grandsons.
