He was predeceased by: his uncles, Steven Carson and Eric Lindale; and his parents-in-law, Frances Davis and Robert LaBella. He is survived by: his father Peter (Joan Lindale); his wife Sharon; his children, Emma and Jude; his daughter-in-law Beth; his mother Joan; his siblings, David and Sue; his aunt Brenda Carson; his cousin Kevin Carson; his extended family Sarah Carson; Kevin Hall.
