The family announces the passing of Scott Allan Seidel of Bucksport, Maine on September 29, 2026. Scott, born on November 3, 1965, was part of many shared moments and relationships throughout life. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He is survived by: his parents, Chester L. Seidel, Sr. and Evelyn Seidel (Quirion); his siblings, Tracey Carr (Jim) of Syracuse, Pam Snedeker (Guy) of Rome and Chet Seidel (Denise) of Syracuse; his nieces and nephews, Jackie, Jamison, Donovan Carr, Theresa Megerell and Frances Megerell-Lambiase; and his close friend Renee L'Huereux Reid. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Gone Coastal (5345 Lee Center Taberg Rd, Lee Center, NY 13363). A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 5:00 PM at the Rome Cemetery Chapel (1500 Jervis Ave, Rome, NY 13440). Visitation will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Kiley & Foley Funeral Service (69 State St, Brewer, ME 04412). A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 27th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery (163 Mount Vernon Rd, Augusta, ME 04330).
