It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Welman C. McFarland of Bucksport, Maine, who passed away on November 9, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank McFarland and Goldie Heath; and his grandparents, Frankie "Ma" Heath and Charlie "Pa" Heath. He is survived by: his wife Natalie Anderson; his uncle Lawrence; his daughters, Jean and Gwen; his grandsons, Andrew, Daniel and Sean; his great grandchild Warren; and his sisters, Sylvia Mooney and Estelle Bowden. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Monday, November 24th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Elm Street Congregational Church (31 Elm St, Bucksport, ME 04416). A celebration of life was held on Monday, November 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.

Fond memories of himself and Natalie together during my many visits to and from their home in Bucksport in my younger days will forever live on in my memories. It is with deep regret I cannot be there in your time of need, but I am sending prayers for a wonderful service while his family pays tribute to his wonderful life.
