Diane M. Foster Obituary

With sadness, we share the passing of Diane M. Foster of Calais, Maine. Diane, born on April 23, 1967, passed away on October 7, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold McMurtry and Francine McMurtry (Altvater); her husband Larry Foster; her son Ryan David Arbo; her siblings, Kathy Foster, Lindy Hatt and David McMurtry; and her brother-in-law Daniel Gardner.

She is survived by: her sisters, Brenda Fielding (Peter) of Lakeville and Francine Gardner (Chuck Towns) of Baring Plt; her brother-in-law Gary Hatt; her nieces and nephews, Cindy, Chrissy, Kathie, Shelly, Malinda, Renee, Peter, Danielle, Nathan and Michael; and her pet Lil Bit.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages others to consider becoming organ donors. Diane was very proud of her son Ryan, whose organ donation saved three lives.
