He was predeceased by : his parents, Edward Roger Sockabasin Sr. and Eunice Elizabeth Sockabasin (Dana). He is survived by : his significant other Yolonda Sockabasin; his children, Edward Sockabasin III of Pleasant Point, Jason Sockabasin (Jen Lewey) of Pleasant Point, Jessica Sockabasin (Gerard Folster-Francis) of Pleasant Point and Jamie Sockabasin (Alana) of Melbourne, FL; his grandchildren, Edward IV, Elayna, Havana of Madison, J. J., Bentley, Majik, Jamie Kay, Davin, Daija, Jayla, Gerard II, Jessa, Hope, Tihtiyas and Kaneesha; and his siblings, Annette Sockabasin, Aubrey Sockabasin (Lisa), Mae Sockabasin, Bonnie Collins (Frank), Roger Sockabasin, Dwayne Tomah (Erica), Alberta Lewey, Lillian Sockabasin, Sebrena Tomah and Walter Sockabasin Sr. (Jessica Brainerd-Sockabasin). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
