It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George M. Taylor of Calais, Maine, who passed away on April 15, 2024, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, George Taylor, and Jean Taylor, Sr.. He is survived by : his wife Regina (Calais); his son Chris (Elizabeth) of Indianapolis, IN; his brother-in-law John Wood of Milltown, ME; and his cousin Norm (Karen Tarbell) of Ruckersville, VA.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mays Funeral Home (26 Church St, Calais, ME 04619). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Calais United Methodist Church (849 Main St, Calais, ME 04619).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to George's most respected charity, The Jimmy Fund in support of cancer research through the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
