With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gwen M. Nystrom of Calais, Maine, born in Machias, Maine, who passed away on October 15, 2022 at the age of 46. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her father Carl William Nystrom; and her grandparents, Lloyd, Pilly, Emma Winchester, William "Bill" Nystrom and Elizabeth "Betty" Nystrom.

She is survived by : her mother Sandra Winchester Nystrom of Pembroke; the father of her child David Lund of Pembroke; her husband John Day; her son Jacob Lund (Victoria Boone) of Pembroke; her grandchildren, Ryder James Lund and Ryley Jacob Lund; her son Nathan Lund of Machias; her grandchild Kyle Lund of Pembroke, Maine.; her brothers, Shawn Nystrom (Kimberly Chabak) of Princeton and Tyler Nystrom (Clair) of West Branch, Michigan.; her nieces and nephews, India Lane of Calais, Carl Nystrom and Izabella Nystrom; and her pet Kane.
