He was predeceased by : his parents, Kenneth E. Holmes and Audrey Holmes (Chase); and his sister Susan Witmer of Plymouth, MA.. He is survived by : his children, Brian Holmes (Susan) and Dori Ann Miller; his close friend Joanne Cantelli; and his friend Artie Mingo. He is also survived by three grandsons; a great-grandson; three nieces.
