He is survived by: his wife Barbara Jean Gibson; his children, Tami Peterson (Art) of Windham, Kandi Gibson (Frank Fischetti) of Ormond Beach, Florida, William J. Gibson Jr. (Rebecca) of Baileyville, Maine and John Gibson (Sarah) of Oakland, Maine.; and his grandchildren, Marissa Exchange, Campbell, Rianne, Jack Gibson, William J. Gibson, III, Jordon Denley, Josh and Sean Abbott.
