We are sad to announce that on August 31, 2025 we had to say goodbye to George E. Sakash of Cape Elizabeth, Maine. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, George is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that George's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Sakash and Ada Sakash (Noonan); and his brothers, Peter and John. He is survived by: his wife Sallie Hilse Sakash (Hanf); his son Ryan of Columbus, OH; his stepsons, Matthew Hilse (Susan) of Saco, Eric Hilse (Lynn) of Cape Elizabeth, ME and David Hilse (Lisa) of Davidson, NC; and his siblings, Ronald Sakash (Virginia) of Wells, ME and Kristina of Ocean View, DE.. He is also survived by six grandchildren and two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
