He is survived by: his wife Betsy Hanscom of Cape Elizabeth; his son Brad; his daughter-in-law Staci; his grandchildren, Nate and Nora Hanscom of Portland; his son Brian (Elizabeth); his grandchild Frankie Janssen of Brooklyn, NY; and his siblings, Gail Hanscom of Saco and Douglas R. Hanscom (Jane) of McLean, VA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
