He was predeceased by: his parents, Nellie Cox (Dow) and Ralph Sr. Cox; and his brothers, Ralph, Jr. and Richard Cox. He is survived by: his children, James C. "Jay" Cox of Cape Elizabeth, Julie (David Paris) of Bowdoinham and Jodie (Raymond Johnson) of Monmouth. He is also survived by six granddaughters, 15 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
