He is survived by : his wife Martha; his sons, David, Matt and Joey; his grandchildren, Caz and Jamie; his sister Bobbi Avant; and his siblings-in-law, Barbara Smith of New York and Peter Smith (Carol) of Australia. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
