It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Winthrop Sylvester MacLaughlin D. Jr. of Cape Elizabeth, Maine, who passed away on September 17, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Winthrop Sylvester MacLaughlin Sr. and Jane Argenio; and his brother Richard A MacLaughlin of Longmeadow, Massachusetts.. He is survived by: his wife Maria Ines Brennan MacLaughlin; his children, Bridget Warnat and Dr. Brian MacLaughlin; his children-in-law, Mark (Bridget) and Whitney (Brian); and his grandchildren, Mackenzie, Benjamin, Jacob, Brooke (Bridget), Nathaniel, Samantha, Marcella and Lillian (Brian).
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St Bartholomew Catholic Church (8 Two Lights Rd, Cape Elizabeth, ME 04107). A graveside service was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Calvary Cemetery (1461 Broadway, South Portland, ME 04106).
