She was predeceased by : her parents, Paul Michaud and Mildred Michaud (Snowman); her former life partner Philip McNeal; her brothers, William "Sonny" Michaud and Paul "Bunny" Michaud; and her extended family Marlene Hall.

She is survived by : her children, Troy McNeal (Dawn) of Springhill, FL, Tracey McNeal Cyr (Rob) of Caribou and Teelynne McNeal Herbert (Jack) of Caribou; her husband Rick Hallowell III of Caribou; her stepchildren, Beth Thibeault (Rick) and Rick Hallowell IV (Heather Harpine) of Madawaska Lake; her sister Elizabeth "Betty" Fowler of North Carolina; her sisters-in-law, Marge Michaud and Shirley Michaud; her grandchild Samara Anderson (Kyle); her great grandchildren, Lincoln and Hudson; her granddaughter Sarah McNeal; her great grandchildren, Sofia and McKenna; her grandsons, Chad McNeal (Kayla Dumond), Cody Herbert (Meredith) and Carter Cyr (Deanna); her great grandchild Carley; and her grandchildren, Searra Herbert (Dayne Savage) and Cory Herbert. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
