She was predeceased by: her parents, Harris G. Whited and Frances Whited (Houghton); her sister Priscilla; and her brother-in-law Lee Scott Fields, Jr.. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Scarlet of Scarborough and Jack of Scarborough; her former husband John McElwee (Kate Debevoise) of Yarmouth; her siblings, Kathryn (William Sunday), Virginia and Thomas; her sister-in-law Cynthia Whited of Dedham; Darcie, Stephanie, Dale Beaulieu of Fort Fairfield and Carol. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, including a special niece.
