He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Quimby and Lillian Quimby; his wife Patsyann (Sally); his son Kevin Scott Bragdon; his siblings, Lewis, Floyd, William, Evelyn, Joyce and Viola; and his grandsons, Ian Matthew Carter and Bryan James Carter.
He is survived by: his sisters, Susan and Juanita; his child Terry (Pat Carter); his granddaughters, Jessica and Jennifer; his child Colon (Cindy Carter); his grandchild Hillary; his daughter Ruth Rose; his grandchildren, Charles, Emily and Aaron; his daughter Lisa (Mike Averell); his grandchildren, Austin, Ashley and Bradley; and his sister Mabel Wilcox. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and by five great grandchildren.
