She was predeceased by: her parents, Burns Hemphill and Irene Hemphill (McGann); her husband Reginald; her brothers, Olin, Donald and Philip Hemphill; and her sisters-in-law, Lena Dyer and Gloria Poulin.
She is survived by: her daughters, Julie (Daniel Hart) and Joan (Kevin Doree); her grandchildren, Lauren (Josh Clancy), Lindsay (Henry Ginsberg) and Griffin Doree; her great grandchildren, Graham Clancy and Nell Ginsberg; her brothers, Frank (Jessie Hemphill) and Paul (Anne Marie Hemphill); and her sisters-in-law, Marlene Hemphill and Noreen Hemphill.
