He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert William and Ruby May Hewitt Sr. (Drost); his wife Barbara Hewitt (Devine); his grandson Kyle Hewitt; and his siblings, Vivian Bubar, Eva Boyce Dyer, Gary Hewitt, Ralph Hewitt and Bert W. Hewitt Jr..
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Vicaire of Caribou, Pamela Dubay of Lenoir City, TN and Floyd Hewitt Jr. of Santa Fe, NM; his siblings, Gordon Hewitt of Caribou and Fanny Dionne of Caribou; his grandchildren, Ryan Vicaire, David Dubay, Denise Dubay and Katelyn Hewitt; and his great grandchildren, Jaelessa Vicaire, Kymani Vicaire, Mason Dubay, Alyvia Dubay, Jackson Dubay, Joshua Irish and Benjamin Hewitt. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
