He was predeceased by: his parents, John F. Hitchcock and Eva M. Hitchcock (Theriault). He is survived by: his wife Alma; his children, Karen Smith (Robbie), David Hitchcock (Cheri), Daniel Hitchcock (Misty) and Darryl Hitchcock; his grandchildren, Michael, Nicole, Nate, Andrew, Dalton, Sommer, Danika, Allison, Micha and Wesley; and his siblings, Sylvia Gagnon (Richard), James Hitchcock (Joyce) and Joanna Staples. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Caribou United Baptist Church (74 High St, Caribou, ME 04736). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A reception will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Greenridge Cemetery (359 Green Ridge Rd, Caribou, ME 04736).
