He is survived by: his wife Connie Staples (Chandler) of Presque Isle; his sons, Shannon Staples (Bethany) of Presque Isle, Todd Staples (Jessica) of Lincoln, MA and Philip Staples (Amy) of Presque Isle; his grandchildren, Blake, Brynn (Justin), Cole (Alyssa), Alec, Camden, Adrian, Lily, Elijah, Martin, Maya, Jonathan and Isaac; his great grandchildren, Lilah and Reese; his brother David Staples (Linda) of Palm Harbor, FL; his sister-in-law Terrie Allen (Frank) of Jacksonville, NC; his nieces and nephews, Jennifer Pierce of Saco, Dena Gates of Jacksonville, NC, Travis Chandler of Virginia and Brandon Chandler of Michigan; his aunts, Janice and Kay; and his close friends, Brandon Roope and Mike Martin.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations in Gregg's memory be made payable to the Maine Parkinson's Society, The Maine Alzheimer's Association, or a charitable organization of one's choosing.
