He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurice Chapman and Flora Chapman (Myshrall); his wife Cecilia St. Pierre; and his siblings, Frederick, Maurice "Skip", Manilva Fenleson, Donna Doody and Jacqueline "Jackie" Harvey.

He is survived by: his daughter Denise Marie McDonald (Paul) of New Sweden; and his siblings, Michael Chapman (Vicki) of Plainville, CT and Carolyn Hanlon (Terry) of Mapleton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
