It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lois Ann Barnes (Caribou, Maine), who passed away on May 27, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Lois Ann may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Lois Ann touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Turney Doody and Eunice Doody (Boulier); her husband John Barnes; her siblings, Richard Boulier, Tourney Doody Jr. and Gary Doody; and her niece Mackenzie Doody.
She is survived by: her siblings, Larry Doody of Washburn, Todd Doody (Beth) of Washburn, Louise Adams (Larry) of Caribou and Sandra Martin-Klassen (Donald); her pet Jackson; and her friend Lois. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Northern Maine Veterans Cemetery.
