He was predeceased by: his grandparents, William, Geraldine Bellefleur, Theresa and Cyrille Smart; his aunt Rita Smart; and his uncle Tommy Smart.

He is survived by: his parents, Raymond Smart and Diane Smart (Bellefleur); and his siblings, Trenton, Trevor Seigle of North Caroline and Samantha Smart of Caribou. He is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins.
