It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Martha Ann Hanson (Caribou, Maine), who passed away on May 18, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Martha Ann Hanson to pay them a last tribute.
Though Martha Ann may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Martha Ann touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Leavitt and Viola Leavitt (Theriault); her aunt Pauline Sanborn; and her uncle Ted Leavitt. She is survived by: her husband Reginald P. Hanson; her son Allan Hanson of Caribou; her sister-in-law Coleen Catrini of Trinity, FL; her niece Nancy Deem of St. George, UT; and her friend Vikki Donnelly.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, May 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mockler Funeral Home (24 Reservoir St, Caribou, ME 04736).
