Though Melvina may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Melvina touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Maxime Devost and Helene Devost (Clavette); and her husband Armand Godin, Sr.. She is survived by: her sons, Adrien Godin (Nancy) of Caribou, Armand Godin Jr. of Caribou, Robert Godin (Connie) of Caribou and Steven Godin of Caribou; her sister Regina Godin; her daughters-in-law, Tamsey Godin and Carolyn Godin; and her grandson Troy Godin. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Calendar Mockler Funeral Home (24 Reservoir St, Caribou, ME 04736). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
