With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Rachel Adams (Caribou, Maine), born in Edmundston, New Brunswick, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Cyr and Jeannine Cyr; her husband Carroll Adams; and her sister Angeline. She is survived by: her sons, Philip and Timothy Adams of Limestone; her granddaughter Aubri Adams of Castle Hill; and her siblings, Claudette Wright of Burlington, Ontario, Evelyn Cyr of Presque Isle, Micheline Dahlgren (Michael) of Bangor, Philip Cyr of Madawaska and Daniel Cyr (Shelley) of St. David. She is also survived by five nephews, seven nieces and numerous grandnephews and grandnieces.
In 2003, she was honored as "Hometown Hero" for her numerous contributions to her community.
