He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Ackerman and Jennie Ackerman (Delong); and his sister Joyce Ayotte. He is survived by: his wife Clarissa McPherson of Caribou; his children, Carlin Ackerman (Debra) of Caribou, Vickie McGill (Anthony) of Caribou and Dennis Ackerman of Caribou; his siblings, Mary Bell of Las Vegas, NV and Marvel Ackerman (Janet) of Fredericton, NB; and his grandchildren, Tammy Rickards, Denise Gloger, Ricky Ackerman, Michael Ackerman and Brianna Rand.
