He was predeceased by: his brother Roger Butler. He is survived by: his wife Karen Butler (Buchanan) of Mars Hill; his children, Shelley Butler of Mars Hill, Kevin Buchanan of Fort Walton Beach, FL., Kristen Butler of Houlton and Christopher Butler of Mars Hill; his grandchildren, Ava, Rosario and Lizzie; and his siblings, David Butler of Madawaska, Betty Orban of Milford, CT., Jeanette Potter of Pittsfield and Irvin Butler of Ohio.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mars Hill United Baptist Church (20 Church St, Mars Hill, ME 04758). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Maine Veterans Cemetery (37 Lombard Rd, Caribou, ME 04736).
