Robert Cyr Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Cyr (Caribou, Maine), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 7, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Robert departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Robert. Though Robert may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Romeo Cyr and Ella Cyr (Gagnon); and his siblings, Victor Cyr, Ethel Cyr and Doris Tardie.
He is survived by: his sons, Christopher Cyr (Allison) and Douglas P. Cyr (Andrew F. Maguire) of Walnut Creek; his stepgrandson Skylar Paradis (Elizabeth McCrum) of Presque Isle; and his sister Patricia Hoyt of Fort Kent. He is also survived by his former wife and the mother of his children.
The military honors will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Northern Maine Veterans Cemetery (37 Lombard Rd, Caribou, ME 04736).
